outline flows allow retailers to construct and automate logical rules that align with their return and refund policies, ensuring the accurate processing of refund requests by utilizing various conditions, you can tailor the outcomes based on specific conditions please note that the applicable conditions may differ depending on the e commerce platform you are using to see which conditions apply to your platform, please check out the exclusion guides specific to each platform how to create a flow? step 1 accessing the flow feature log in to your merchant portal navigate to ' settings ' locate and click on ' flows ' step 2 creating a flow click on the ' new flow ' button give your flow a descriptive name to easily identify its purpose step 3 defining conditions review the available conditions and determine which ones you want to use for your flow the available conditions include date purchased refers to the specific date or date range when the order was purchased date fulfilled refers to the specific date or date range when the order was fulfilled product sku allows you to use your product sku(s) as a condition for the flow item discount level this feature involves utilizing the discount amount on a product within an order as a condition product tag (shopify users) allows you to assign specific tags to products and use them as conditions order tag (shopify users) allows you to assign specific tags to orders and use them as conditions customer tag (shopify users) allows you to assign tags to customers and use them as conditions category id (bigcommerce users) allows you to use categories id as conditions attributes (magento 2 users ) allows you to use attributes as conditions click on add condition and select the desired condition if you select "date fulfilled" or "date purchased," specify the date range for any of the tag / id conditions, simply type in the corresponding tag into the provided text bar, and click ' enter ' product tag condition date purchased condition multiple conditions if you want to create more complex rules, you can combine multiple conditions within the same flow for example, if an order contains a specific tag and the date purchased falls within a certain range, you can set the outcome to make the item non refundable step 4 setting outcomes determine the desired outcomes based on the conditions met the available outcomes include return reason group is present return reasons based on specific conditions fix shipping price to modify the shipping amount according to specific conditions item not refundable due to prevent specific products from being eligible for a refund increase return time by/to extend your initial return time by a specific number of days or to a particular date to define the desired outcome, click on add outcome and select your preferred option from the drop down menu if you want to make the item non refundable , choose 'item not refundable' and specify the corresponding reason if you want to display a specific return reason group as the outcome, select 'return reason' and simply choose the desired return reason groups from the drop down menu to adjust the shipping price , choose the 'fix shipping price to' and type in the shipping amount multiple outcomes you also have the option to combine multiple outcomes by adding another outcome and configuring it according to your requirements step 5 saving and activating the flow once you have defined the conditions and outcomes for your flow, click on the ' save ' button all newly added flows will be automatically activated to disable a flow, you can simply turn it off by toggling the switch you can view all active flows in the "active" tab
