Processing Returns

outline when refundid is integrated with omnireturns, omnireturns will no longer automatically process refunds for you through the original payment location (i e if shopify is being used, when a return is processed, omnireturns will no longer issue a refund on shopify back to the customer) if refundid has been used for that particular return in the instance that refundid is not used, your omnireturns flow will not be affected refundid will still need to be told if a return is accepted or declined by you with the omnireturns integration, there are currently three ways this can be done option 1 automatically via the omnireturns tracking status if your return processing is done by seko, refundid will be able to identify when seko has processed the return for you once we receive the notification that the return has been processed by seko, we'll automatically approve it on your behalf in the instance our system picks up that the return has been delivered however we haven't received a notification that the return has been processed for an extended period of time, we'll assume it was declined and automatically decline the return you won't be required to do anything on your end if you choose this flow option 2 manually via the refundid portal in the instance you do not rely on seko to process your returns, you will need to accept or decline the return on the refundid portal to help us identify if a return was approved or not this would involve you navigating to the refundid merchant dashboard and accepting or declining the return there option 3 integration between refundid and the location where returns are processed if you would like a processing flow similar to option 1 but with a different platform, refundid can investigate an integration for you and your store to help automate this process please reach out to your account manager to get this looked into further
