outline refundid utilises loop's webhook features to help notify retailers if customers choose to use loop after using refundid this helps to identify customers who have attempted to use both platforms and prevents a customer from accessing their return twice if a customer does attempt to use both platforms, refundid will add a note to the return on loop so you're made aware of this steps navigate to your loop portal, click on the settings tab and navigate to the developers page once on the developers page, click ' create webhook ' when the popup appears, set your webhook up using the following credentials event return created response return url https //api refundid com/loop return created/ \[merchant id] \[merchant id] will need to be replaced with your store's unique merchant id please contact your account manager to obtain this for your store click ' add ' once added, open up the webhook again by clicking the blue text in the event column titled ' return created ' at the bottom of the popup, click ' activate ' and then click ' save ' once the webhook is added, copy the webhook secret and send this to your refundid account manager that's it! you're all set 😎 what next? our system will now keep an eye out for any duplicate returns if we see that someone has lodged a return on loop after they've gone through refundid, we'll add a note to the return listing in loop so you're aware of this!
