Bundles

outline bundles let you map a bundle product's sku to the component skus inside it this is used so refundid understands what's actually inside a bundle when it's purchased bundles are available for shopify retailers setting up bundle mappings go to settings > bundles click create mapping enter the parent sku (the bundle product's sku) add each component sku and its quantity using the add child button click create mapping each mapping can be turned on and off with the active toggle in the table importing mappings via csv if you have many bundles, you can import them all at once click download template to get the csv format fill it in with one row per component the columns are parent sku the bundle's sku sku the component sku quantity how many of the component are in the bundle (whole number) pricing strategy use discount clawback upload the file, click validate csv , fix any errors shown, then click import csv importing a csv replaces all of your existing bundle mappings if you only want to add or change one bundle, use create mapping instead how bundle returns work once a bundle is mapped, customers can return the individual components of a bundle rather than the whole thing when a customer looks up an order containing a bundle, they see the bundle's components as individual items, grouped under the bundle each component is shown at its full standalone price the discount the customer originally received on the bundle is withheld from the return as a bundle discount deduction the deduction is applied once per bundle unit a return touches if the customer later returns the remaining components from the same bundle, no further deduction applies the customer is never double charged the discount components can be exchanged for other variants like any normal item refunds that would go negative if the deduction is larger than the value of the components being returned, a standard refund would go negative in that case the refund is blocked and the customer is shown the shortfall exchanges can still proceed, with the difference charged as part of the exchange in shopify refunds and returns are recorded against the original bundle line item on the order, in whole bundle units partial component returns are refunded as money against the order until the full bundle unit has been returned in your portal the bundle discount deduction appears in the return's breakdown when reviewing and processing the return
