outline standard resolutions include automation features to streamline processing, helping you reduce manual work this covers both auto approval of returns that don’t require review and auto cancellation of returns that were never completed by the customer auto approval event the auto approval event allows you to define when a return is automatically approved without any manual intervention currently, this automation is triggered based on the return tracking status you can configure auto approval for the following statuses not shipped yet in transit lost in transit delivered maybe delivered unknown failure approved by seko (available only with the seko integration) auto cancellation event the auto cancellation event lets you automatically decline returns that were lodged but never actioned by the customer you define the number of days after a return is lodged if the return has not moved to “in transit” within that period, it is automatically cancelled this feature is especially useful for clearing out old, incomplete return requests we recommend coupling this automation with the cancellation inquiry email this reminder notifies the customer that their return will soon be auto declined unless they take action you can choose how long before it notifies the customer
