outline the fulfillment requirements feature controls when a customer can lodge a return for their order you can choose between no fulfillment requirement requiring the entire order to be fulfilled before returns can be lodged allowing partial fulfillment, meaning customers can return items that have been fulfilled even if other items are still pending steps open your merchant portal and navigate to settings visit the general tab scroll down to the order conditions time section and locate the field titled ' enforce a fulfillment requirement for returns to be lodged via refundid ' in the dropdown on the right, choose from the following options no fulfillment requirement customers can lodge a return regardless of whether any part of the order is fulfilled order must be fulfilled the entire order must be fulfilled before customers can lodge a return the lodged line item must be fulfilled customers can return fulfilled items, even if the rest of the order is still pending click ' save '
