outline in the instance that a refund is issued to a customer prior to them using refundid, it is important that a certain note is left in the reason for refund section to indicate to refundid which items you'd like the order adjustment to be applied to if no notes are added, refundid will apply the order adjustment across all items in the order proportionally note this feature will only come into effect if the order adjustment is applied without any products being chosen if a product is selected when creating this order adjustment, refundid will treat the refund as the removal of the chosen product steps locate the order on shopify that you would like to add an order adjustment to once the order is open, click "refund" at the top of the page once clicked, enter the amount you'd like to refund back to the customer in the reason for refund, enter in the prefix adj followed by the skus you'd like the order adjustment to apply to make sure that the skus are comma separated if you'd like to spread the discount across multiple items please also ensure there are no spaces see below for an example as seen above, the $20 refund will now be applied across both items as both their skus have been added note the amount refunded is proportionally split across products, not equally you can now process the refund to the customer what next? if the customer attempts to use refundid, the value refunded will be proportionally deducted from each product you have specified
