outline refundid currently supports three different types of pricing structures for shipping customer pays retailer pays (free return shipping) set price shipping customer pays the 'customer pays' option will shift the full price of the label over to the customer when they're using refundid this price will be generated and displayed directly over to the customer this value will then be deducted from the final refund amount received by the customer depending on which shipper account is used to generate the label, this deduction may be displayed on your dashboard if refundid's shipper account is used, the amount payable to refundid will still be the full amount of the refund even though the customer received less in this scenario, you're not paying for the shipping, you're still only paying the full refund amount back, this full refund amount will however include the shipping label cost paid for by the customer if refundid's shipper account isn't used, the amount payable to refundid will only be the amount paid out to the customer this is due to the shipping cost being charged to you separately via your personal shipper account in this scenario, the deduction of the shipping label will be displayed on your dashboard retailer pays the 'retailer pays' option will give customers the ability to receive free return shipping when they return to your store the value of the slip will be displayed to customers as free when they purchase a label through refundid there is no amount deducted from their final refund depending on which shipper account is used to generate the label, this cost may be displayed on your dashboard if refundid's shipper account is used, the amount payable to refundid will be the full amount of the refund + the cost of the shipping used by the customer in this scenario, you're paying refundid back for the shipping as we already purchased the shipping on your behalf in this scenario, the cost of the shipping label will be displayed on your dashboard if refundid's shipper account isn't used, the amount payable to refundid will only be the amount paid out to the customer this is due to the shipping cost being charged to you separately via your personal shipper account in this scenario, the cost of the shipping label will not be displayed on your dashboard set price shipping set price shipping lets you preset the shipping rate irrespective of the actual price of the label this allows you to offer your customers a guaranteed rate when generating a label through refundid in the instance that the dictated amount is less than the actual amount of the label if refundid's shipper accounts are being used, the remaining amount will be charged to you
